At Vivisum, we strive to live out our three core values–Genuine Human Connection, Fearless Exploration, and Brilliant Work–in everything we do. It is not often that we are fortunate enough to come across something that exemplifies our three core values in perfect harmony. That’s why we are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the 2013 Forward Fellows program, a new venture by Bull City Forward and HUB Raleigh.Designed for emerging high-impact, high-growth entrepreneurs or “intrapreneurs” (within existing companies) across the Triangle, Forward Fellows will be provided an exceptional professional development experience that will accelerate their entrepreneurial growth, enhance their professional and personal networks, and contribute to our region’s innovative economy.“The Fellows program allows the Triangle to identify, support, and celebrate some of our most promising emerging innovators and community leaders,” said Christopher Gergen, Bull City Forward Executive Director. “The entrepreneurs will continue to grow their own organizations while spending a portion of their time accelerating the growth of the social venture community in the Triangle.”BCF and the HUB are now looking to identify the inaugural class of Forward Fellows. We are looking for a cohort of collaborative innovators who have committed to not only growing their own ventures but stepping into the community to help close major gaps in their field, curate the social venture sector, and serve as ambassadors for social entrepreneurs across our region. Work being pursued by the Fellows must be designed to have positive impact in our society. This could range from reducing obesity rates to increasing usage of clean energy technology. The Fellows program allows the Triangle to identify, support, and celebrate some of our most promising emerging innovators and community leaders. For more details on both the benefits to and commitments made by Fellows, click here. Applications are due by midnight on February 17th.
