Vivisum has always striven to pursue meaningful work and explore the role of business in social progress. We can’t think of a better way to do that than to continue supporting the great work that local organizations are doing in our community, especially at a time like this.
In accordance with this, Vivisum has selected two organizations to receive our 2020 Meaningful Work Grant. We are pleased to announce that we are offering market research consulting to both the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCCADV) and the Hayti Heritage Center. We could not be more excited to work with such exemplary organizations. If you’re not already familiar with these organizations, here is some background information:
NCCADV
Not only does NCCADV provide care and assistance to survivors of domestic violence; they are also working toward altering policy and societal beliefs about domestic violence to prevent abuse from happening in the first place. This is accomplished through innovative training, technical assistance, state policy development, and legal advocacy.
Hayti Heritage Center has long been a Durham mainstay of cultural and artistic preservation. They promote the African American experience by providing a platform for diverse points of view through artistic performances, artistic education, and community engagement.
The Vivisum team is honored to collaborate with both of these organizations, and we can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!
